Lucille Mary Wolterman, nee Moriarity, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and faithful servant of God, entered eternal life at the age of 100, February 26, 2026, surrounded by the love she spent a lifetime giving to others. Lucille devoted her life to her family — a family blessed with sixteen children, each welcomed as a gift from God.

Preceded in death by her husband, Edward, Lucille is survived by fourteen children; John, Edward (Nancy), Joseph (Regina), James (Jan), Rose Putnick, David, Judith Love, Alice (Joe) Torre, Stan (Peggy), Diane (Steve) Bierman, Lucy Borchers, Larry, Katie and Michael, her son in-law Gary Even, daughter-in-law Cheryl Wolterman and sister Hilda Hessler.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Even and son Mark, her brother Walter Moriarity and sisters Mabel Busam, Ruth Kruthaupt and Catherine Alfers.  Also survived by family members Christine Wolterman, Sharlene Wolterman and preceded in death by William ‘Butch’ Putnick.

Lucille leaves behind a beautiful and growing legacy of forty-one grandchildren, sixty-three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, each deeply loved, each uniquely special and each carrying forward a piece of her heart.  She understood motherhood not simply as a role, but as a sacred vocation. Her kitchen table became a place of nourishment, counsel, debates, forgiveness and laughter, where faith was lived daily through prayer, sacrifice, and quiet acts of love. A devoted Catholic, Lucille found strength in the Eucharist, comfort in the Rosary, and joy in trusting Divine Providence through every season of life. Having completed her earthly pilgrimage, Lucille now rests in the embrace of the Lord she served so faithfully.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
